"Allegro Orchestra" is a dynamic nonprofit initiative spearheaded by Jonathan Anderson, committed to enriching lives through music education in Mexico. As an extension of the esteemed "Symphonies of Hope," this organization is situated in the vibrant community of Coacoatzintla, Veracruz, Mexico. Our overarching mission is to bring the transformative power of Godly music to diverse places of need, including hospitals, nursing homes, prisons, and beyond. Through music we aim to inspire and uplift individuals, providing a beacon of hope, financial help to our Mexican teachers, a wheel of helping eachother and others.

Give instruments!
Do you have instruments you'd like to donate to our mission? Often, schools or churches have instruments they're getting rid of or not using, or perhaps you have an instrument that has been sitting in your attic. Even if it's just one instrument, that's one student who could be learning to play in Mexico. "The need for instruments never ends. When I get a new student, the first thing the parent asks me is, 'Do you have a violin you can loan my child?' I always do whatever I can to try to rotate available violins around, but for most of these families, a violin isn't an investment they can take on. Here in Veracruz, Mexico, it's really hard to get your hands on a decent violin to learn on. Most of the violins are the most basic, low quality violins from China or custom-made violins from luthiers that are around $60,000+ Pesos. That's $3,000+ dollars. Many decent violins are undervalued in the US and would be great instruments for someone to start on or to give to a more advanced player." If you send an instrument, Jonathan may use it to loan to beginners just starting, or if they have been coming for several months and show they are dedicated, Jonathan may give the instrument to them "no strings attached". An instrument that has little to no value in the US could be the most amazing gift of learning you can give to a child! If you would like to send an instrument like a violin, viola, cello, doublebass, trumpets etc. If you're ready to send an instrument contact jonathan for a US address where you can send it. Please let Jonathan know so he can make sure there is space to safely store the instruments until he is able to pick them up from the USA. Anything is helpful, whether it's instruments, accesories, strings, etc.
